Cali Nation Biography:

Andrew Nack – Guitar and Vocals
Mony Lujan – Bass
James Moore – Drums

Rising from notorious Salinas, California comes the Three Headed Monster, also known as Cali Nation. Proving that John Steinbeck and gang violence are not the only things the small farming community are notable for.

Cali Nation performs a hybrid blend of rock, reggae and blues. Any witness to the musical experience of a Cali Nation performance will agree that the energy and quality of showmanship is undeniable and contagious. Singing songs of life experience, good times and bad times, Cali Nation manages to express a message of love and understanding through the rough edges, woes and toils of their working class background.

Founded in 2000, Cali Nation began performing up and down the state of California, raising funds to independently record and release their debut ten-song CD entitled “The Album.” Early in 2005 the band went on hiatus after performing at The Catalyst in Santa Cruz.

After four years of hiatus, Cali Nation founder, vocalist and guitarist Andrew Nack made a triumphant return, enlisting local legends Mony Lujan of Dubwize on bass and James Moore of  STUB on drums.

The band is currently in the final stages of mixing their sophomore album, called “Cali Nation,” at Nack’s Z Minor Sound recording studio. The 14-song album will be released on the band’s Organic Crack Records.
